Mike - The employers will make the donation directly to MPH, so I am not cutting out expenses. I am hoping to support myself through sponsors and donations from individuals.(see sponsor section)

Eva - Sounds like you must truly be a 'jack of all trades.' Give me 6 months of doing this and I will be right there too!

Rosemary, Cole and Teesha - thanks for the kind words of support!

Hi Sean,

I am not a company, just a person in Ottawa who saw your story today in the Metro Magazine on the bus. I saw the headline and thought "hey that sounds like me". You should see my resume. I have worked everywhere and anywhere. I love the idea of being a jack of all trades. It's so much more interesting than sitting at a desk for 20 years and I learn so much more. Right now I have no choice but to work at whatever I can get because of my travelling debts but as soon as I take care of those I will be off on another adventure in no time. My next big thing is to get my chef papers in Sweden and then go and work in Australia for a year.
I also want to applaud you on your mission to raise awareness of child poverty!! Awesome. I remember living in Victoria and seeing all the homeless people there and thinking if I had the money I would build shelters for all of those people. But I could not think of a way to generate the money. So it is inspiring to see someone develope an idea and put it into action. I am so glad that the media is picking up on your cause. Keep up the good work and if you happen to have any time, drop me a line.
Best of Luck!

I think that this is one of the coolest things anyone has ever done. You are obviously interested in finding out what your passion is, and I think that this is an excellent way of doing it. I think that you have a lot of courage, especially, switching from week to week, that must be extremely hard! Meeting all new people. I admire that. I wouldn't be able to keep such and un-stable job. And I hope that you do not take that as criticism because I personally think that it's really great. I know that you're 'overnight celebrity status' must of caught you off guard, but I hope that you stay grounded and focussed on what you want: to find your passion.

Sean,

Sounds pretty rad man. I almost want to quit my job and join ya! But for now I will have to decline.

However, I am going to see if my employers are up for it. We are always in need of some more help! And of course you could stay with me. And if I think of anything in Edmonton.. Ill do what I can to hook it up!

Oh, I did have a thought though, err, more like a question. You say all proceeds go to MPH but are you cutting out expenses like traveling from each city (speaking of which, are you planning on flying or hitch hiking?).. I only ask because when I was explaining this to others that was their response. So, now I'm curious!

Keep it real.

Sean,

Good to see you're representing Capilano so well!

I love this idea and it really blows my mind how you keep coming up with such great ideas.

If you could make your way over to Sweden, I'm sure we could rally up quite a bit of donations from the students! Give it some thought!

Good for you though - the world needs more people like you!

Adios
