I’m following along from my workplace in the UK! I’m traveling and working as a product designer. I am quite happy with my career choice but I won’t be satisfied until I really get going with the environmental design aspects.

Well I have yet to be squished, which is nice, but splattered by cow manure on several occasions… can’t say the same.

Jen, nice! It has been pretty cowabunga. You will be seeing me in some suit and tie positions soon, not saying that those require any more skill, but different anyways.

Hi Sean: Cows, now? You’ve found such an udderly unique set of jobs! Glad to hear you’re milking life for all it’s worth

OneWeekJob seems like it’s allowing you to explore quite a few jobs, yet at the same time it limits you to trying out semi-unskilled labor positions. What are your thoughts on evaluating other sorts of jobs requiring a bit more in the way of training/background? Is there a TwoWeekJob or OneMonthJob in the making?

Enjoy the cows, while they can be a bit aggro like Kirsty mentioned, they’re cute as buttons.

I remember being traumatised as a little kid as I attempted to milk a cow and the bugger squashed me against the side of the barn with it’s arse. I’ve worked on a few farms in my travels but have yet to encounter another mad cow. But it’s good fun and definately a new experience if you’re used to city life.
